About Us

Expanding Young Minds was created in a response to the shockingly large number of underserved youths who have never been outside their city limits. The organization's aim is to expose kids to new ideas, concepts, and careers through travel, and to show them that there is more to our world than just their neighborhoods.

Children will learn about the places they will visit, develop observation skills, questions skills, positive choices, cooperation and respect for indoor/outdoor environments. EYM offers seasonal fieldtrips to museams, science laboratories, recycle centers and wetlands, etc.
